GUN Just bought a new SA 1911 GI .45

    And I'm having some trouble. It doesn't want to feed easily, unless I release the slide really hard, and it takes a few tries even then. I have yet to shoot it, because I just picked it up this evening, but it just seems really stiff. Will it loosen up over time or is this some sort of defect? Here's a couple of pics.

    shoot a couple hundred rounds through it and see what happens

    That's on the list, but I'm wondering in the short term. You know how it is, I want to shoot it right away, it's so new and pretty.
