    :eek3: at keyboard.

wonder why many of the function/cmd/control keys are all moved around. And why is the 1 key so big?

I've been waiting a bit to get mine... hopefully all those manufacturing kinks like loose battery cover get fixed out within the first few weeks of being retail

I had the iBook G4, and I was really not too happy with it... it was slow, even for the end of 2004.

However, the new Alum MacBooks look very slick, and OS X seems very responsive on it... I've been a huge fan of the Intel + Windows combo, but I guess that switch from PPC to Intel Apple made in 2005 really was a good choice.

Plus the new MacBooks are so sexy... how is the glossy screen? Are you having any problems with it, yet? Are the black colours not black enough? Viewing angle shitty?

its not bad, i have nothing on here, just got itunes running.
as for the gloss, its fine the way i see it. reflection is at a minimum the way i see it. angles.... what angles, if i turn the screen to the left or right any more, i cannot see anything on my mac, just the side of it. so angles left to right are perfect. up and down, well its just like my last 2 laptops, it becomes darker or lighter. so ye, no complains about that so far.

JUST getting used to this japanese keyboard. and mac keys.

dont put vista on if you've never used it. they moved everything around and made everything more cumbersome to use. just stick with xp if you need windows.

Is anyone having wifi problems? My new macbook is fine in most places, but at home it strangely signs out every 10 minutes... Then I refresh the DHCP and it returns to normal. Really annoying while on msn

Used as a primary OS... I still use my old iBook G4 that I bought 4 years ago... barely but sometimes. Either way, all OSes have the ability to crash, most of the time I find crashes are based off of user errors... no need to get so offensive :dunno:

Jesus, what's with you Mac fans? I enjoy Apple products, and I'm probably buying the new GlassBook ASAP... sorry for letting myself in on your little internet club here :ugh:

So far no problems, havn't been far from the router yet.
honestly a very sturdy machine, stronger than my heavy duty HP from work, and acer(this was a shocker).

I know how people begin to like it, also nice to have 2 systems on the one unit.

so far everything seems just fine. about to take it apart again and throw in a 500gig drive, and reinstall everything from scratch.

I've only read abouthe batt-cover problems, i've taken mine off several times and i must admit its relaly well engineered and thought of the way you can so easily replace the drive. pitty bout the ram being slightly more difficult to access.
