And the stock headunit won't play MP3's. I'm not interested in replacing the stock unit, but is there a way for me to do something with either the stereo or the format of the CD's to make them play? I burn a lot of CD's- making my own mixes, etc and I hate the idea of not being able to listen to them in my new car.

You could burn your mp3's as a normal audio cd, but then you would be limited to around 80 minutes of music.

Thanks. The car has a 6 disc in dash change from the factory, so that would be like 480 minutes. Maybe I'll just get XM.
