    24" can require a more powerful graphic card to run at native resolution, depending on what you want to do (like gaming at full settings) :hs: 1680x1050 to 1920x1200 seems like a big jump

    24" ftw, especially sitting next to a 21".
    1680x1050 + 1920x1200 = more screen real estate than I know what to do with.

    Throw all your background shit in one window (itunes, pidgin, uTorrent, email client, etc), and have the main monitor for whatever you are actually working on.

    If I'm actually doing something, I use one for autocad and the other for internet/word/excel/etc.

    If I'm just screwin around I use one for the internet and one for whatever else I'm doing.

    I thought when you had dual monitors it would essentially make both monitors into one huge monitor, if that makes any sense. I didn't realize you could do different tasks on each.
