Glad it's got some mods done. Cause a stock 98 Gixxer750 just doesn't have enough power for a new rider. :slap:

Read about my friend Ray. He bought a 91 GSXR750 as his first bike. He got to ride it about a month.

Wanna bet as to whether you're gonna make it that long?

Ray wasn't racing or doing tricks either, he was just out on a normal Sunday ride.

I know people that have started on liter bikes and are still alive and riding well. Its wiser to start on a less powerful bike, but you can still do it with a 750.

He was a new rider, may have been going too fast for the corner and went wide, or target fixated. He wasn't some young punk biker boy wannabe. He had a wife, 2 kids, ex-Marine, just bought a house.

you may not have intentions to drive fast but throwing a leg over a bike makes people stupid (including myself)

    dude just becareful man, please.

take your time to learn the bike... my friend learn on a 03 750 GSX-R and his doing good,, one day he dropped it trying to wheelie he was ok and the bike too but he learn his lesson.

just use common sence when you get out there... try it to get full gear if you can afford it...
