Dick's Sporting Good $189 -- evidently I missed the sale earlier that week, and I bought the second to last ruger they had. Woodstock that I may get froggy with and paint later this week

Custom walmart specials. I thought about installing an aftermarket extended sock release, but I like the stock look. :coolugh:

gah that's my next purchase... Don't ever move into a new appartment. It's ignorant and too time consuming.

Typically, if your foot is in the picture, it is required to be bare, with the backdrop being the concrete floor of your garage. But we will let you slide this time

Just bought one last Wednesday! $135 used with a Swift 565. Not sure if I want to shell out for upgrades that cost more than the original purchase though. Just enjoying it for plinking at the moment.

I hate the forum, but they are nuts when it comes to 10/22's

They have sponsors you can buy parts from cheap.

5 minutes with a round file or dremel and you can make your own auto bolt release.

On the stock bolt release the hole on the right is just round, from what I remember. Just open it up to this shape. It's not rocket science. If you fuck up you can always buy the aftermarket one.

It's buffers your bolt. Everytime you fire a round the bolt slides rearward and slams into a steel pin. The upgrade is a fancy piece of urethane that's easier on the bolt. Eliminates that clunky sound/feel when shooting also.

the buffer replaces the bolt stop pin and stops damage caused by the bolt battering the recoil pin. they're clear polymer and are light weight and extremely durable

makes it so when your bolt locks back, you just "sling shot" it instead of having to fuck with the mechanism to unlock it.
