Shitty cell phone pics, but it's the best I can do. [IMG]

3rd Gen Glock 23. Guy said he had under 50 rounds through it, and I believe him. No barrel smilies, and very few marks on the chamber. Going to be CC'ing this. Wondering what direction I should go in for an IWB holster, and a class/range holster too.

Was looking at the Blackhawk serpa's, and maybe a Galco for IWB. Go easy this is my first go at CC so be gentle. :sadwavey:

yes, i don't find the recoil to be that much of an issue

and he's CC, i'm thinking a weapon light is out of the question

and it was more of a joke than anything, so calm down

I don't own a glock chambered in .40 but i love my beretta .40 :dunno:

my 9mm glock is a fun and reliable gun to shoot, i guess i don't see why glock would make a great 9mm and a great .45 but not a great .40,,,,, maybe i'm missing something, i'm no glock expert

    I know it's done. I just don't think it's a good idea. Heavy+drag/snag+size

i prefer to carry a tac light and use a modified Ayoob grip

Weapon lights just seem kind of tacticool to me.
I see the point if you're on an entry team, but for the average person (cop included) it's like having a fixed bayonet

I'm not worried about having issues with a mounted light. I don't like having a light mounted on my weapon. It's basically a big target in the dark that says hey shoot here. I don't want that target in front of my face. I'll keep my surefire in my pocket when I cc, and I'll feel plenty safe.:bigthumb:

This gun is also very new. Jul-21-09 was when they test fired it in the factory. Not even a year old. :ugh2:

When clearing a house I don't want a light in front of my face period. I want my light up and away from me sweeping a sector at a time. If they take a shot at the light that way, they give away their position, and hopefully don't hit me.

I recall reading something that said this issue is only with relatively recent (since the frame redesign in 12/05) guns only but rumor is that the newest ones have the appropriate follower and mag spring.

Do you read the things you post, or just find something you thinks suits your claims, and copy pasta away?

I understand your e cock is way bigger than mine. Congrats.

Well I'm not going to mount a light as it's not how I was trained. So I shouldn't have any problems. :x:
