Lesnar's only chance of beating Fedor is if he utilizes his wrestling and muscles his way to a decision. He showed the chink in his armor when he tried to stand up against Mir II.

Fedor will easily destroy Lesnar on the feet or sub him if it goes to the ground.

I'm not saying that Lesnar would win or that he even has a good chance at beating Fedor, but Fedor showed some weakness on his back against Rogers tonight..those punches he took against the cage looked pretty solid and Lesnar's power > Rogers. :noes:

I know I will receive hate for this, but I agree with you. Fedor is not that technical from his back, and IF Brock has a chance, its definitely from top after they go to the ground.

Fedor looked fine off his back. He ate some power punches and readjusted to nearly sink an armbar.

Obviously Fedor is very comfortable off his back, he has a good number of submissions that began from that position.

I say Lesnar dodged Strikeforce because Fedor was signing with them.

I think the better question is whether or not Lesnar can take one or a bunch of Fedor's punches.

Fedor is better standing, no ifs and/or's, question about it.

Lesnar might have the advantage on the ground cause of his wrestling and massiveness.

No you're right, it was a good sub attempt. I'm just saying that it'd be dangerous to take that many power shots from someone like Lesnar who has shown that he can do a lot of damage with his GnP.

Not to mention lesnar's ability to control an opponent on the ground is substantially better than Rogers. If that was lesnar doing that last night, fedor would STILL be on the ground trying to get up or searching for a sub.

I wish Fedor-Lesnar would happen so bad. I'd love to see Fedor knock the fuck out of that loud mouth faggot. Only thing more obnoxious than Lesnar are his nuthugger fans.

You saying Fedor has the advantage on the ground is fucking absurd, and shows your MMA immaturity.

If Brock was able to manhandle, and completely neutralize and then destroy a World Class BJJ Ace in Frank Mir, what makes you think Fedor would have even the slightest chance at subbing Lesnar, you fucking tool.

The ability of A to beat B and B to beat C does not translate to the ability of A to beat C.

Fedor's stand up, balance and take down defense far surpass Mir's. As for Fedor's ability on the ground vs Mir's can't speak to it, they haven't fought. Rogers showed that Fedor will have difficulty with a big, strong opponent - which Lesnar is, but that does not mean Lesnar would manhandle or even beat Fedor. I for one would take Fedor over Lesnar (currently) due to a number of factors but mostly because of experience and superior all around skill. I think Lesnar would make a difficult fight for Fedor and he would have a "punchers" chance due to his size and strength but his size and strength are not the be all end all. He had a very hard time taking Couture down despite his wrestling ability and size and strength.
