He is pretty short for a welterweight, so how do you guys think he would do if he cut to 155? I know the UFC doesn't have that division anymore, but I am just wondering how he would do against the top 10 lw from other organizations like gomi, kawajiri, edwards, etc.

Dana mentioned something about him being 190 earlier in the show. But I was just wondering how he would do against 155ers if he cut down that low.

i think he performs well at the weight hes at.. if he cut, seems like he could lose his strength

He is KOTC lightweight champ, the guy is a weight cutting machine

If zuffa revives the lightweight division i reckon he will drop down to fight there, there are just so many good wretlers in the welterweight division that i think he will struggle there.

cummo, stevenson, ken-flo, diaz, serra, menjivar & von flue are all good reasons to revive the 155 division.

von flue is 6'1, cut 18lbs to make 170 and still looks skinny as hell.

He'd literally have to chop a leg to make 155

Cummo is listed on Serrajitsu at 185, and said he had to maintain a very strict diet to stay at weight for the show.

If anything I'd think he'd move up rather than down.

I agree. He's already too low for his bodytype IMO.

 you got me. some how forgot he was 6' 1"... but just looking at his body type (tall slim) & fighting style (striking) it doesnt appear he'll do to well @ a weight higher than 170.

i think the best thing he could do with his body type would be adding a ground game & not worry about changing weight classes.
