    holy shit!

    fantastic post

    fantastic Q&A

and Joe Silva seems like a far smarter and more honest man than i ever gave him credit for. I'd like to see him replace Dana one day.

Anderson is trying to train with Chuck? Besides take down defense I don't see how that could benefit him too much. Maybe I'm overlooking something. GREAT info though!

rashad either doesnt cut or barely cuts at all for 205, he should be able to make 185 on short notice with his wrasslin background.

and i am sure there is logic behind fedor's mgmt not wanting sylvia, risk probably isnt nearly worth the reward, unlike randy.

I was wondering that too. Are they worried because of what happened with tims arm during their last fight or that Mir isnt in the right shape to fight someone 'the caliber of tim sylvia'?? Or maybe both...but both of those arguments are retarded reasons to not let them fight. Mir is back in shape and can definitely do well enough to, at the very least, not die in the cage with tim.

I heard it was all because of how terrible he had looked. When PdP beats the holy fuck out of you, you shouldn't be fighting Timbo.

This makes me believe a lot of this stuff is bs since Okami did resign with the UFC. As for Fedor ducking Tim Sylvia, he's supposely fighting a 7"2 @ 360lbs guy on NYE and he's ducking Tim Sylvia? Please.

Fedor also said himself that if you saw how much they offered, you would've laughed yourselves. Apparently the huge amounts of money they offered wasn't really that much.

I thought the Okami thing was interesting because it looked like he was gone from the UFC, then suddenly he has actually re-signed. Very similar to the Marquadt rumours too (everyone thought he was unwanted then suddenly he appears on some cards).

Sounds like UFC contract negotiations are fucking hairy!

As for Fedor ducking Tim, that has to be taken with a fat grain of salt because of the source, and the main thing I got from that was that Fedor's management seem to have a lot of control over his career, and definitely seem to protect him to a certain extent, having control over his matchups.
