    Job Description
    The qualified candidate will become part of a team developing a variety of .NET web applications using C# and ASP.NET on the Windows 2000/XP platform. They will display excellent team leadership skills, a strong understanding of software design, and be able to apply those skills toward the maintenance and/or redesign of existing applications and new projects alike.
     
    Required Skills
    The qualified candidate must have the following:
    •	A proven track record in all aspects of the development life cycle
    •	Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
    •	3-5 years experience developing software using Microsoft development tools.
    •	2-3 years .NET Experience writing ASP.NET web applications, windows services and web services using C#.
    •	MS SQL Server 2000; Must be comfortable writing complex stored procedures, user defined functions, scripting objects, and versioning SQL scripts.
    •	Crystal Reports experience
    •	Client-side scripting experience using Javascript/ECMAScript
    •	Excellent Written and Interpersonal skills.
    •	Strong Analysis and Design Skills
    •	Strong Troubleshooting Skills
    
    Preferred Skills
    Candidates with the following will be preferred:
    •	Mortgage Experience (including industry specific software products)
    •	Bachelors degree Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or industry related field
    •	Experience w/Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

    Yea, i know you've posted positions before and mentioned that. Unfortunately it's a business thing for me. I gotta wait for a few things to pan out, and then i'm moving out of the freaking state. :mad:

    sorry kinda off topic...
    but have you guys ever noticed that people that call themselves senior are usually stupid and old and don't know jack? They just want to toot their own horn. Most "good" programmers I know never call themselves senior they let their work speak for themselves....

    People only call themselves senior because of their years of experience, from my experience at least.

    :sad2: Maybe I should start learning .NET. It seems that it is everywhere now. How much different is it from ASP 3.0 and VB 6?

    i only have about 1 year of .net experience, but 4 years of programming (mostly mainframe technologies) :hs:
