So I used my Koral classic gi for the first time today and LOVED it.. I was wondering how the atama gi's fit in comparison.. Lookin to buy another one and retire my renzo to backup

i'm not a huge fan of atama...... after the bullshit price increase last april, i aint going there anymore. But it's a decent gi, nowhere near as good as it once was (heard that they use crappier material now)

I'd go for the koral, that thing fits like a glove on me. Gameness is nice too, but other folks aren't so hot about em. I'd go for the koral again if i were you. jiujitsuprogear.com DO IT!

I have 2 Atama's from before their price increase. I like my Fuji as well. My 4th gi is a Gameness but the pants suck so I got another pair of Atama pants.

    For me: Fuji=Atama>>>Gameness

I've been debating on a 3rd Gi... (First was a Ouano. Second was a Koral...)
I was thinking about trying out the Vulkans Summer Gi... anyone got inputs/suggestions?

I really like Atamas. They dont shrink as much as a Fuji. I also own a Keiko Sports Gi but beware with those.. the inseam hangs too low.

    Dont own any Korals... yet.

i have had a koral and vulkan

    i love my vulkan

the koral was great too... but the vulkan is just as good imo and a bit cheaper

although when i first started using the vulkan, after it got all sweaty it felt like the gi got stretched out a bit.. like the arms became longer had more room in the back... after a month or so the "stretching" be came minimal

but i prefer a more roomy gi any way i am a fairly short and wide ... not really fat more stocky ...
i am gonnna buy another vulkan... just make sure to hang dry

Heavily patched gis make you look like a NASCAR driver. :big grin:

I've got 2 Kikskin single weaves and a Gameness single weave. I like the Gameness, but  the Kikskins.
