I've been a long time fan of that Mk3.

I'm on the Vortex as well (same username)

    Mike's Jetta is the sickness.
He has put so much into it. I'm sad to see him selling it.
Hopefully the new owner will take care of it!

I think 1552 ended up "breaking up" over that pain of a project. :mamoru:

1552 is a class act.. I needed a gauge from them with the quickness and the guy that called me was exactly what you would want to deal with ordering parts. I was so impressed.
They did the keychain freebies on whoretex last year and he sent me mine without me even asking for one.. Just sent it because I was a previous customer.. Little shit like that makes me like them.

I agree. Brad, Adrian, and Steve have been nothing but completely professional during their VW Sport/moving to Florida and becoming 1552 days.

I have been friends with Steve for a number of years, and just remember all of the stress during the 2 door Jetta project. I would get daily updates of "so this is what didn't work today!" They're a great group of guys, and it's a shame there is no longer a 1552 Winter Treffen. :(

I know the new owner of X and it has seen some miles and needs a few things as well. I still like the look, but the color and a few other things would have to be changed to fit my taste.

Overall, I think it is a pimp car, but VW already has 2 two-door cars on the lots and a 3rd on the way.

Fuck yeah, that thing looks badass

and I think the MK4 jetta looks more natural as a coupe cuz of the tapered rear window vs the huge square joint on the Mk3 , but both are phat

Mk3s just look so german, so solid..... VWs look too "luxury" now....

they went the way of merc and bimmer, and lost that awesome german brick tank look :hs:
