Straight up torture porn and brains being blown out.
i lost it when they revealed big daddy's origin the suitcase
am I missing something if so fill me in
Kick Ass 7 came out yesterday (9/10/09). Big Daddy is just some comic nerd who wanted to give his daughter a cool ass upbringing. His briefcase was full of rare comics he was selling to fund everything.
Definitely the most over the top issue- and only one more to go. The movie should be interesting.
8 issues and that's it or that's it for the arc?
Only 8? That's the first I've heard of that. Suddenly it's glacial pace doesn't bug me as much.
I've heard that the first 8 issues are the original limited series that was already planned out and it will become an ongoing series after the movie is released.
Fucking issue rocked
ib kickass and hitgirl have lustful sex after killing everyone and hitgirl becomes his stepsister
still a issue
It was good shit.
I wonder if they'll keep Big Daddy's line about American Idol in the movie
Gotta give props to Kick-Ass for being able to stand after having his nads electrocuted
There is no way in hell the movie will be true to the book...but if it is I will actually pay to see that shit in a theater
Maybe not 100% content wise, but you're wrong if you think the movie won't be a blood-bath. Vaughn and Millar had no outside financing, they made it themselves with no hollywood backing (meaning no hollywood influence). It was only picked up to be distributed by lion's gate a month or so ago.
Just because there was no hollywood influence doesn't mean the guys went out and made "torture porn" akin to saw/hostel.
here's hoping, but from the tidbits they don't show lots of blood (graphic)
That's because when this book came out, we got little tid-bits of violence. Then everything went over the top when he got into his first fight and hasn't let up since.
Why would they tone down this movie? What do they have to gain? Why would Vaughn and Millar go through financing tens of millions of dollars into a movie just to censor themselves? It makes no sense, this movie is going to have plenty of ball-shocking, gangster chopping, executed point blank carnage.
Because they don't want an NC17 rating and to have the movie be basically unsellable, as in theaters won't show it, he already said that the movie is at an R with editing still to do.
cant wait to see this
It seemed pretty graphic to me.
I can't argue with that, but I've seen content 10x worse than someone getting their junk hooked up to a car battery. Think Hostel.
Not to mention Casino Royale had a naked Bond tied to a chair while what's his face tortured Bond's nuts. And that was PG-13.
