so me and the wife have been tossing around ideas for storing my comics. long cardboard boxes look ugly and take up a ton of room. want a filing cabinet but they are really heavy and once you have it somewhere you really dont wanna move it. then we went to Lowes and saw this and thought it would work good. its a 9 shelf cube made by Closetmaid and the little basket things fit in the cubes. i have 850ish comics and they all went in here. and i still have a lot of room to spare

the cube and the baskets were purchased from Wal-Mart (used my discount card) and the cube itself was $20 less and the baskets were $2 less than at Lowes

damn wife is so creative. and the cubes are stackable. so we are planning on getting another one later on and stacking it on top of this one. that way i can put my figures and graphic novels on a shelf also :coold:

most a cube will fit by itself is 136 issues. Ultimate Spiderman barely fit in there

    Looking good :bigthumb:

I'd only be worried if there was an earthquake and they fell out. Though 136 comics is probably heavy enough to stay in there.

God Damn crunks... I'd love to dig through that. It's like going through buried treasure.

Out of sheer curiosity, what's under the bucket?

That bucket is an air cannon

Briefcase contains baseball cards from the early 90's I think.

    Then top ramen.

And I think the bag of shit is just misc papers and folders.
