  3. how do you plan on connecting it without a harness, or cutting wires? A harness adaptor is only like 10 dollars, are you really that poor?

do you not understand the radio is going from one car manufacturer to another? the only way i could get it is to cut the harness from another toyota

not to mention that I doubt there's any wiring?

how am I going to do it? there's exposed pins... all i need to do is look at which pin is which and connect a wire to it.

if i just wire directly from the battery... i think the prev owner did that. there's a second 12v coming from the battery into the car, I'd have to remember to turn off the radio so i wouldnt kill thebattery right?

its much easier attaching wires to pins. :)

if i go to a junk yard, its gonna cost more than that. the radio is off of a 2000 tacoma... all the wrecking yards around here are specialized.

  8. don't you have a pick-n-pull?
just go up in there, cut it off, and put it in your shoe or somethin ;)
you only have to pay for the big stuff :big grin::big grin::big grin:
    as far as the 12v......
you're supposed to have an ACC turn on too
that way it turns on and off with the car......
thats how mine is anyway....

Yes, you are supposed to wire that wire in too, but he said bare minimum needed for the radio to function. depending on the radio, you may HAVE to wire the ACC turn on lead for it to operat, but such is not always the case.
