some say it was worked, because hughes subbed horn in 16 seconds. story is they were strapped for cash, and they would share the fastest sub purse.

    watch and decide for yourself.

Jesus, that was a SICK takedown by hughes. And I am not sure about this being a work, did hughes or horn admit it?

It looks like a lateral drop, except he doesn't hit the mat until horn gets slammed.

Awesome takedown. Horn just walks right into it. It looks legitimate to me. The gillotine was well applied. Hughes had his legs wrapped around him. He wasn't going anywhere.

The reason I dont' think its a work (unless they admitted it) is because Hughes is just that good of a wrestler, and his head control/strength is unmatched. Matt Lindland choked out Travis Lutter (a bjj black belt) in the UFC by guillotine, so I definitely think it is possible.

It's the classic case of not being able to compete against your friend. Horn just doesn't have that killer instinct :mamoru:

It can't be a work because it wasn't a job. It was more like a SCAM
