Haven't taken any pics of her since I got the new scope.

Here she is in all of her .308 Win. glory

Note in keeping with the TACTICAL namesake, I've added a Blackhawk Cheekpad, Harris Bi-Pod, Lightened the trigger to around 2lbs myself, Nikon Monarch 5-20x44mm with target turrets, regular knobs, or tapered knobs, and super-1337 tactical all-black sling.

BDC reticle. Don't use it very often since I use the target turrets instead. Useful for jump-shot situations though.

Oh, look who was hiding in that cheek pad zippered pouch all along.

When all else fails, trust the mighty .380.

And here's what I was able to do with it this past fall.

One of them was at this 408 Yds.

Future plans include enlarged tactical bolt knob, threading the barrel for a brake, and eventually suppressor when I move to a state where they're legal, and a new trigger plate with detachable 10rnd mags. When the Barrel finally gets shot out in another 9500 rnds or so, I'll swap barrels, but I'm sure I'll have future builds in progress by then.

It can do .75 inch 4 shot groups with Portuguese NATO surplus. The limiting factor is the ammo at this point, and I will be investing in reloading equipment within the next 6 months. It's my favorite rifle, as Soybomb can attest to. Hope you all enjoy the pics.

Does that scope get in the way when you're trying to chamber another round? On mine the clearance isn't very good and my scope is a lot smaller than yours. I was thinking about mounting it higher, doesn't seem like a very good design.

20" Factory Fluted barrel. The flutes look a lot better in person, but it hard to show the Parkerizing on the camera.

Scope is just a regular Monarch. Not the X or gold. still ran about $530, but it does everything I want, and optical clarity is great.

The bolt handle does come close to the scope, but the way I rack the bolt, it isn't an issue. A tactical bolt knob will help with this.

Now all you need is an Accushot Monopod and it'll be almost as tacticool as mine ;)

A Jewell trigger would get you all the way there:naughty:

Can you still have a sling with the Accushot monopod? A Jewell trigger was in the works, but then I manned up and adjusted it myself. It's out of the 5 year factory warranty, so that's not a problem anymore. I adjusted it, and tested it for safety. It's about as light as I want to go being used for hunting as well. Before I adjusted it, the trigger pull was affecting accuracy, but now it's no factor.

Don't you have the 700PSS, with the fluted 26" or is that someone else?

Yeah, you can fold the pod under and there's a sling attanchment point.

I had adjusted my factory trigger too, but I still didn't like the feel of it. The Jewell is like butter

No, mine is a 700VS. I've had it for about 4 years, I think.

This pic is before I added the trigger.
