A friend of mine claims that a Hummer H2 can offraod and rockcrawl better then a Wrangler...everybody PLEASE post evidence that this idiot is wrong that this Yukon clone cant even come close to offroading like the Wrangler :wavey: ....he's even trying to claim the likes of an F 250 or a stock Silverado 2500 will rape a Wrangler with tires and lift...

They're apples and oranges, but the H2 has more ground clearance and larger tires stock than a Wrangler does.

He's probably not too far off in that assessment.

Most of the time it's the driver, not the machine. Just show him this pic, I'm sure he will enjoy it :bigthumb:

Maybe an H2 has a little more ground clearance but wheelbase helps a lot more for the wrangler, also bigger tires don't mean much when you are running bigger axles to compesate. H2s have the AAM 1050 or 1150s which I am not sure but either way 35s plus that big of an axle means it will be draggin hard and will get you hung up real easy. Not to mention the weight of it alone will make it real fun out in the rocks.

The h2 is too big to even consider rockcrawling. Also, I am not sure an h2 is even Dual locked? The H2 has no body flex, and the wheelbase is way too long.

The Jeep Rubicon is locked from the factory and could kick some H2 butt in stock form (Rockcrawling only).

In the open desert, the H2 is superior.

Sorta related, but check out this H1 on an RTi Ramp: http://www.whiteknight.ca/hum.mpeg See what I mean, no flex.

    Jeep>Hummer

    Why?

    Cost
    Fuel
Smaller machine thats capable of going places where H2s can't.
You can't buy bascially anthing aftermarket for a jeep.
