My wife's nephew has a 93 Cherokee Sport. It stalls and won't start again unless he pulls the battery cable. After reattaching it will run for a few minutes but die again. Now, a little history:

The radiator was leaking so he had to replaced about a month ago. Then the batter died so he replaced that. A few days later the car was and it wouldn't crank. So we figured a bad alternator. I helped him replace that and he drove about 10-15 miles before the problem stated above. The battery still has a charge and will crank the engine, the engine just will not turn over until the battery is unattached and then reattached.

    Any ideas?

Crankshaft Position Sensor, very common problem on Cherokees and all 4.0L Jeeps with some mileage on them.
