2002 Jeep Cherokee Overland Edition w/ HO .. 67k miles, navigation

    or

2003 Jeep Cherokee Limited v/ HO .. everything but navi ... only 50k miles.

    Same price...

Which should I go for. Is the overland really worth it?

thats what I was thinking.. thanks..

ps.. if this engine has been babied (*an older woman drove it) how many miles do ou think I would be able to get out of a jeep like this. This will be my first SUV/Jeep, as I have been used to hondas, acuras, etc, so I not to familiar of the lifespan of a jeep engine.

    thanks

overland has a stiffer spring rate and 3/4 spacers on all 4 corners ....

so no, go with the limited.

    which motor?

the 318s are nice .... they start taking a little work around 175-200k, but they done get broken in till about 100 .... gas mileage blows though .... only look for about 19-22 on the highway.

yea, it would be the 4.7L...

Whats wrong with the stiffer suspension on the overland models? Im not to familiar with them. Is it a pretty rough ride? I do beleive they got rid of them the next year..

forgot about the upcountry suspension. dont worry about the ride. very soft; much nicer ride than the XJ i had at the time.

Nothing IMO, but not worth the extra coin

exactly ... nothing is wrong with it ... i had a 97 with the upcountry and it rode great .... but its not worth the extra money for some $5 coil spacers all around and slightly stiffer springs....
