here's the deal, I think my front end is bent, and I think I did a poor job of the gear install, so I'd like to build something cheap on the side to replace the front end.

Do I get another D30 and hopefully reuse the gears I have, add a locker, maybe try to figure out how to add manual hubs...

or go for something bigger? I don't have the ability to weld/cut up a junkyard front end to fit my truck, so I'd probably have to buy a prefabbed housing and go from there...

I can get a housing from currie, for $700. But I don't know if that includes mounts welded on. plus it'd be another $300 shipping from california. no thanks.

I could. I dunno. I don't like asking people for help, I'd rather just pay a shop to do it. :o
