    Hey all,
I just kinda got into photography last month when I bought my new Nikon D80 and Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 Ex DG lense. I want to improve more into photography. So here are some pics I took since last month. C&C are always welcome.

lol have you ever been typing something but been talking about something else, then subconsciously typed what you were saying instead of what you were trying to type.... well that just happened.

That is a really good example of how flat horizons make a picture look ALOT better...:bigthumb:

Noped. The only thing I edited on the picture was the selective saturation and resizing it.
I thought it was just me that the horizon wasn't lvl. Does look a lot better like that. I don't know about cutting out too much of the sky even though it would be following the rule of three. I need to get a spirit lvl sticky and put it on my camera, so I know I am lvl when I am not looking through the viewfinder. That picture is actually two pictures in one. I cut out the sky from the other one and slap it onto this one.

What kind of border would you use? I swear I'm really bad at it. All i do is use the selective box tool and make a square around the edge of the picture, invert it, then grab the brush tool and paint black all around... I have Photoshop CS3. Thanks for the welcoming :wavey:

Don't do this. Especially that empty white space and the off center picture.

lol. I wasn't going to do it exactly like that. Just rotate it first. then crop it. Something like this I think.
