    Any idea why the gallery sorting buttons on the bottom of this page don't work in IE? 8 and 8 64bit specifically, haven't checked older versions

    http://www.ecoautodetail.com/gallery.html

    CSS looks good in both as well as the lightbox script, just the sort isn't working when you click on Interior / BMW / etc. :dunno:

    It's probably my fault, i.e I missed something dumb. Going to take a break and come back to it in a few hours.

    Any suggestions from those better versed in this are appreciated.

    Anyone experience Jquery animate having a problem in IE and find a workaround?

    Code:
                        <script type="text/javascript">
                        function excludeAndFade(class_name)
                        {
                            if(class_name != "")
                            {
                                jQuery("#portfolio li:not(." + class_name + ")").each(function(i){
                                    jQuery(this).animate({opacity: "0.1"}, 200);
                                });
                                jQuery("#portfolio li." + class_name + "").each(function(i){
                                    jQuery(this).animate({opacity: "1"}, 200);
                                });
                            }
                            else
                            {
                                jQuery("#portfolio li").each(function(i){
                                    jQuery(this).animate({opacity: "1"}, 200);
                                });
                            }

                            this

                        }
                    </script>

    Just spit balling with myself right now :naughty:

    Thanks for the confirmation.

    That's what I've narrowed it down to as well, but like I said I'm new to javascript. I tried just adding the IE code for filter.opacity alphawhatever and it didn't work in FF or IE afterward. I'll mess with it tomorrow morning and see what happens.:x:

    I put it in like this, am I wrong?

    jQuery(this).animate({opacity: "0.1"; filter: alpha(opacity = 10);}, 200);
