I have aproblem on my PC. When I open a page that uses java it will bring it up and it will not refresh. I am doing this for my fantasy football draft. It brings the screen up and maybe refreshes with the new information of someone making a pick and then I wont refresh anymore. I have to close the window and open a new one every couple of minutes or so.

I also have the same problem when I d/l a program off of internet explorer. It will sometimes download all the way down, but most of the time it will just stop in middle of the download. I have to close it out and re-click it to get the finish of the file.

Can someone help me to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it.

How is your page caching set up in your Internet Options control panel? The settings are under the "settings" button of the Temporary Internet Files section of the General tab of the control panel. In the "check for new versions of stored pages" options, force it to "every visit to page" and see what happens.

    No...

I've use Opera at work and IE at home. 9 times out of 10, I have to go to IE to use Java. I'm not sure how much better or worse FF is, but with reading the recent problems people have been having with it and a few have been dealing with JAVA, I doubt it would be any better than IE.

Yea, like not knowing how to use it without getting spyware which seems to be the reason 90% of the people on this board switched...

That still didnt do the trick. You guys think maybe its with something on my network. I have a wireless network, but my PC is directly connected to it. Just a thought since it messes up in and outside of IE.

I really dont know why this is happening.
