    Not too sure about it, a few more experienced photogs I know liked it so I thought I'd ask your guys opinion.

    I kinda like the PP (desaturated and grainy) and I tried my best at Rule of 3rds :dunno:

    I can't really make out if the bottom is dirt or water. I feel that it definitely needs a much tighter crop though.

    I really like it a lot, I think the color tones capture the mood perfectly. I also like the crop and I think its pretty sharp too.

    Doesn't really do anything for me to be honest. If you didn't say it was a shrine no one would have known. Just looks like a picture of the forest with something in the distance. I would have liked to see it much closer, i.e. use a telephoto assuming you couldn't get up close to it.

    Where is that? It reminds of the one in Lake Ashi but thats not it.

    Must be a different one than the Hakone shrine then. The Hakone shrine was much larger, had a visible walkpath, and had a flagpole next to it.
