As some of you might remember, I've been looking into a home theater system, and there's a store around Jackson that offers Jamo speakers, we're in talks about getting everything set up. Does anyone have any input on them? I'd never heard of them until I went up there.

I have the E8 package and my parents are presently using it for their living room home theatre. I like the sound of the Jamo speakers but they are, like most "hi-end" audio, overpriced. If you can find them for a good deal and like the way they sound, go for it. I like that the smaller, bookshelf speakers as well as the towers have excellent bass response and, as they are European speakers, they are not overly bright. These work quite well for home theatre and 2 channel audio.

A rep brought them by our store a couple years ago. They're OK. Nothing so compelling that we would have dropped our current line (Paradigm). Find a Paradigm dealer if you can...especially if you're looking in the under $500/pair range. They have that pretty much locked up. :)

[disclaimer: just my humble opinion, no flames plz kthx :big grin:]
