I've lost the drive to work, help me out

    I have hit rough spot. A few months ago I was going to the gym 5 days a week, working hard and it was showing. I continued this trend for around 4-5 months, but this month I started going 4 days a week, then 3 then 2 and last week I didnt go at all. I never want to go to the gym, i just want to lay around and relax now. It seems that I have lost my motivation to lift, has anyone had this problem before?

    tired all the time? Any injuries? Anythign going on in life thats stressing you or different then the norm? Gym change at all? Help me out here

    I'm not sure about you but the only time that i feel that i want to quit is when i haven't noticed any progress in a while. Thats when i tweak my workouts or diet so that i get my motivation back.

    It seems whatever motivated you to go before, went away...what motivated you before?

    If that is gone, you need to find something else to motivate you to get your ass in the gym

    i'm not sure if you read the main board but it appears that your girlfriend/wife and pretty much any woman you're interested in will be tag-teamed by 5 black dudes if you dont work out

    No one can make you want to do it..... if you don't have that inner desire, youre just like the rest of the population basically.. :hs:

    the people who stick to it consistently for years are not normal, that's for sure.

    my family/friends always give me the shits as to why i eat the same food everyday. My roommate tells me that i'm a freak for eating chicken everyday. bitches dont know about postworkout meals son.

    bodybuilders are freaks. i think bodybuilding might be the hardest thing to train for, period. you gotta have a good diet, train hard, and sleep well. Basically 24/7, and i think very few people have the resolve to execute their training at a high level :dunno: I mean, i guess if you wanna be the best for any sport you have to do that too. But having a good clean diet and counting calories and shit would be tough for me seriously...

    competing once is one thing, ya its hard and an accomplishment..but .doing it year after year even when you get fucked or miss your peak is another level. Anyone can do it once.
