On say, deadlifts. Apart from my grip, it's the fact that I rip the skin on my hand and can't hold on. I guess I will need to get some straps :dunno:

Fuck, curls for the gurls. Callouses for the girls.

Over time the pain will subside, but I second cave's idea, don't go for straps.

I've used straps, chalk, bare etc. I pulled the most weight with straps, but I got the best pump from chalk/bare. I love always feeling the forearm pump on DL's.

I can't seem to even hold on it hurts so much :(

I have a Heavy Grip at home I've been using, it has helped. I'll continue using it but in the meantime I'm still thinking straps.

I thought about getting some gloves, but I don't feel it as well with them :/

I am the same way when it comes to shrugs, but for some reason deads aren't as bad. Try some gloves, they will stop the friction and increase your grip some but wont be as easy as straps. That is if you already have a pair, because I wouldn't get a new pair to try them out.

My dad has a pair, but they are a bit too big for me. I might just borrow my friends and see how the feel :dunno:

Gloves are probably your best bet, my skin tears sometimes even with them on.

Just do them, eventually you will kill enough nerves in your hands that you won't feel a thing.
