anyway. It's a bunch of fall pictures I took over the course of a week or so. Not every single picture in the gallery screams "fall", but most do. Most of the pictures are supposed to have an orange or golden look to them, so don't scream about WB. Also, none of these pictures have been edited in Photoshop yet (You'll see some blown out skies that are going to be cropped, or some bright ones that are going to be toned down)... I'll do it whenever I can.

Also, each page is quite different (6 total) so if one page bores you just jump ahead. Here are a few samples.

(ok, so the obvious blue WB shift here says "winter" but there was ice up there in early November which is still fall.... so it counts.... the gallery needed a different color in it anyway)

I don't even have borders on these pictures yet.

Nice work. Autumn is such a :hs: season for me. Weather is very nice and colors are beautiful, but the end of daylight savings, winter around the corner, and raking those damn leaves makes me hate the season sometimes. :o

probably a stupid question but i will ask anways, On your index site why do some of the images shift when you click to go to the next one. Is because they have been resized??Great colors though!!:)

That's one thing that I don't like. The shift (on both the index pages and each individual page) is caused by portrait vs landscape orientation. I wish I could keep the arrows in the same place so you don't have to move the mouse in between pictures.

These galleries were generated with Photoshop CS2. Perhaps I'll find a gallery system that I prefer over photoshop's in the future.

Yeah, photoshop removes the exif data when it creates a web photo gallery.

In general, all landscapes were shot at f8 or so, portraits that look like they were shot at 1.8 probably were. Most "telephoto" shots were shot at 5.6.

    the arrows..
you will have a PM in a second with an e-mail - send me the program files Photoshop creates so I can take a look at them. Judging by the source code it'll only take about 10 seconds to change the arrows.

ahh, never noticed that checkbox. I'd much prefer it if CS2 would just put all the gallery options on one page... It has silly restrictions too (like the largest image dimensions set to 800 pixels and keeping some background colors fixed.

Only problem with that is even if I do get that data for you how would I make photoshop choose edited defaults anyway?

If you are up for a project though, I will link you the files.

well I'm guessing it's about a 10 second edit but not entirely sure. If it is, just let photoshop create the document and edit things quick with any text editor.

So how'd you make it let you go above 800 pixels?

Well fuck me in the goat ass. (no clue where that saying came from)

Photoshop 7 wouldn't let you go above 800 even if set to "custom" apparently CS2 will let you set whatever you want. In for 1200 (even though that's a bit too large for most people...... fuck em.
