Tomorrow we're qualifying. Basically we have to draw a concealed and holstered M-11 pistol, then hit a 6 inch target in 1.7 seconds or less from the standing position. After we qualifiy we're doing a night fire inside an indoor range with Surefire flashlights. Today was day 3 of this course. 2 more days to go.

Oh and on Friday we're using sim rounds on each other. :hsugh:

    It's a fun course. :bigthumb:

    Sounds fucking awesome.

What MOS do you have that required you to take such a cool course? MP or Security Forces i'm guessing? :dunno:

Of course the training helps, but I would hate to quick draw my weapon and shoot myself in the foot.

Is the Blackwater training that they advertise on their website, like the tactical 5 day courses and whatnot, is that training highly regarded in the law enforcement/military community?

I've used sims 3 or 4 times. The very first time we didn't even have masks. Just had some Eye pro pretty much. That was a little scary but at the same time the stupid masks fog up so you can't see shit anyhow..

probably that and mostly depends on how cool your command is, reguardless of MOS (in our case).
