    I know I spelled supplements wrong...I can't edit it :(

so I think I have down what I need.

First off: basic goal is +20 pounds and obviously muscle mass. I have the basic 3 day routine. I have long term goal as well but I figured I would start off with this and then continue on as time goes. Also...I've been hitting the gym for a while now but take NO supplements except for a multi-vitamin (which I don't consider a supp).

My diet consists of lots of burgers, chicken, veggies of all sorts, pasta, and a good assortment of sandwiches and fruit.

Fish Oil (damn good for me)
    Multi-Vitamin (same thing)
CEE (muscle mass, strength, recovery, etc)
Whey (I'll be honest, I'm not entirely sure still what this stuff does)

that's what I it appears I need after reading online for a while and talking with a nutritionist (old roomate).

does anybody think I should add or subtract anything from this list? Also if someone could explain in english what the whey stuff does that would be cool.

Last but not least any recommendations for brand name for each item?

    thanks :)

protein/amino acids are the building blocks of muscles and necessary for the formation and repair of such

I use fisol fish oil, enteric coated, taken from smaller fish to reduce mercury

    a solid whole foods vitamin

don't know, maybe the bulk powder from bulknutrition

    ON :bandwagon:

if you are bulking worry less about vegetables and fruits and more about carbs.

whey protein is the most essential thing you should be using. whey is derived from milk, and protein builds muscle. take what you put in quotes for cee (muscle mass, strength, recovery) and thats what WHEY does. seriously man you should know this. so fish oil is fine, multi-vitamin is fine, cee isnt too necessary but may help you retain more water so you can meet your 20+ goal and protein is absolutely essential.

p.s. your nutritionist roommate is a dork.

creatine doesn't mean that you bloat, it's when yout ake it in excess and it sits around the receptors holding water.... it's most important attribute is carrying the phosphate to produce ATP from ADP
