The strange thing is, I'm not working out at all; I'm basically a lazy shit all winter, though I do bike regularly in warm weather. But lately I've been burning through chicken and beans/rice and almonds at a ridiculous pace (not counting "regular meals"), for no apparent reason. I did cut back a lot on my smoking a few weeks ago (working on quitting for the second time), but that's the only thing I can think of that might have any effect on my diet. What would make someone crave large amounts of protein when they're not doing much of anything that involves motion or effort? I'm not even interested in carbs or fat, just protein in any form I can get it.
