It's getting easier by the day to stuff my face. At first it was hard to eat over 4000 calories in a day when it was coming from clean foods, you get so full.

Anything on here you guys wouldn't recommend eating?

That's what it turns out to be when you're eating 40/40/20 at ~4500 calories, too much? What should I eat more of instead?

I dunno, the diet doesn't look all that bad just seems a little excessive.

How much do you weigh? I didn't eat half that much shit when I was 300lbs.

Because I weigh 250 and I want to gain weight, I haven't been gaining anything at 3500-4000 so I stepped up.

I'm 6'5" for reference, at 250 I'm just starting to fill out.

    What would you recommend?

Why is it that people on this forum say that 3000 calories is "hardly anything" but when someone steps up from 3500-4000 calories because they aren't gaining, they are insane? lol

It really isn't that big, I've just recently started getting "do you play football?" instead of "do you play basketball?"

Regardless, as stated in an earlier thread (that didn't go very far, not surprised if you didn't see it), I want to hit about 260-270 then maintain for a while and cut down. I think 250 and single digit bodyfat would be pretty intense.

I'm guessing it has something to do with 4500-3000= 1500.

Except I was only eating 500 more than "hardly anything" and wasn't gaining, so I step up and it becomes "insane". Oh well.

Is 400g protein too much? In my other thread nobody had a problem with my suggested macro ratios of 40/40/20 and that's just how much it turns out to be when getting that many calories with those ratios.

    But what is your height/weight?

I've been consistently hitting at least 4500 (tracked religiously with fitday) for the last few weeks and I'm hardly gaining. I lift weights four times a week and I'm pretty sedentary beyond that (no cardio, work from home, drive to class, etc), so I guess I just have a pretty fast metabolism.

TZ was pretty hyooge looking at 250 not in the sense that you have muscle bulging in all directions but that you're like a stocky muscular person only scaled up x2. He's also 6'5" i think

Scale moving up by marginal values that could probably be attributed to water weight fluctuations or being bloated full of all this damn food :o

500g of carbs it's hard to imagine you aren't holding a gallon or two of extra water

But is it going up? Or is it fluctuating in a 3ish lb range?

Exactly what I'm saying about the scale "hardly moving" and could "probably be attributed to water weight fluctuations".
