So I made a mix cd last night (regular audio cd format), and for some reason the cd text didn't make it onto the cd. I can't seem to find an option within the prefs menu to turn it on.

    Bueller?

cd text is track information that cd players (mostly car cd players) can read.

Usually when you burn a CD it will encode the CD name and song lists as well. So if your stereo at home or in the car supports such a feature you can choose to have it display that instead of the generic "CD - TRACK 02". I have an aftermarket deck in my car and I have to choose to display the info.

I never see any new store-bought CD's use this feature for some reason. The one & only album I bought that did it on it's own was Incubus's "Make Yourself" album.

Oh that's really cool.:blue: I didn't know that was an option. I'll have to tell my mom to look into that when she gets her car cd player replaced.
