itunes vizualizer on osx and xp

    on my powerbook the vizualizer doesnt slow the comp down at all. on osx does it use the gpu
    and on my windows xp machine when i use the vizualizer it slows the crap down, does the vizulaizer on xp use the cpu or something?

    Yep, you got it. Everything you see in OSX, even this browser window is 3d accelerated in Quartz Extreme using openGL. On windows, the visualizer is rendered using 100% cpu so it doesn't have the benefit of having the graphics offloaded to the gpu.

    to have it on5 computers in my house and only 1 powerbook :hs:
