itunes question

    is there a way to make itunes search your whole hd for music files? i moved my music folders around and now its saying it cant find alot of songs. its pissing me off.:wtc:

    also its says i only have 4 gb of music but my music folder says i have almost 29gb. what gives.

    I have a question also... why the fuck does iTunes keep opening up when I close it on my macbook? it pops up, i close it, it opens back up wtf


    sorry, didn't feel like makin my own thread, but i don't know how to help ya

    yeah that program helps with one thing but i want to find these missing music files i know i have with out doing it one by one.

    so i used that one program and i have 59gb file called my spare image. im guess its a copy of my hd? do i really need that

    Yeah that was how I closed it.... tried to force quit...

    No matter what it keeps opening... i finally just hid it.... its still open

    you could try deleting everything from your library, then copying your Music folder back into the library. With 29GB, it could take a while though, but not too long

    well what happened was i had two music folders an itunes one and a regular music one. well i combined them and now there is songs (maybe 50 or so that itunes cant find the file for. so i was wondering if itunes can just search my hd for music files and put them in my library. they were song itunes already had in the library that now it just cant find the file for and now has that exclamation mark next to it..
