It's very interesting to see such commitment from some of you with working out.

It's only 3-4 hrs a week in the gym or outside.

I spend more time watching a movie and TV.

Well one thing to note is that a lot of people here don't work. They are full time college students. Many here don't even have part time jobs of any kind, nor any internships. I know this cuz I know a lot of people here. So if your whole list of things to do in an entire day is go to undergraduate classes and nothing else besides maybe a girlfriend then you don't really have any excuses.

Some people here do have jobs but the majority is college kids from wha I can tell.

Go workout during lunch... it'll be tougher if you only get one hour but my boss is laid back and i can stretch it to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Plus, I work on base so the gym is within walking distance even though I drive. I eat lunch at my desk when I get back while doing work.

I am really surprised you didn't mention this nudes, BUUUT.....

Also, given the nature of this forum, there are also a lot of people who place a disproportionate amount of priority on working out.

To be honest, I for one neglect other aspects of my life for working out. I should spend less time in the gym and more time experiencing life, building relationships, and being social. But there is almost an addiction that is filled by working out. A self-serving, I CAN CONTROL THIS, dogma that lends itself to making working out more important than it should be.

    my two cents.

dude, an hour and a half a day of exercise shouldnt have any effect on your relationships or experiencing life. like evo said, we probably spend more time watching TV and using the internet every week than fitness

Not the most active social life. I used to be the fat kid with not many friends... I was always, "that guys friend." lol I guess I'm used to not being popular or having people to hang out with all the time. So I surround myself with things to stay busy, pass the time, so that I don't end up doing something bad (drugs, sex, alcohol, prostitution, rape, or vegetarianism) you kno?

Seems daunting and like a lot of effort before you start. Once you form the habits, it's not that hard. The hard thing is self control...resisting all the shitty food that's around you.

    I work 60-80 hours a week.

FInding 4 hours a week for the gym, plus a little time to prep food, is NOT that difficult. Granted, I am single and only go out 2-3 nights a week.

it's a pain in the ass sometimes but it can be done.

my wife's going to school 4 hours a way, all week. i get up (usually late), get my kids off to school, haul ass to work, haul ass home to pick one up from daycare, make dinner, get his homework done, do shit around the house dealing with water damage in living room,

i'm still trying to find time to workout OUTSIDE, even when it's raining or snowing. just gotta do it, dude.

check out 5/3/1. one of the biggest things he says is if you dont have time or you're having a bad day, get in the gym and get your main lift done then go home.

that's only 6 sets of @ 5 reps. easily can take less than 30 minutes.
