Looking at the vid it looked like Fedor just went wild. But after he did the uppercut, then left hook, he grabbed Sylvia's right arm with his left and pulled him into that big looping right, then continued pounding away. Fedor maintained complete control of Sylvia from start to finish. Freakin awesome.

He didn't "go wild" in the normal sense, once he was in the clinch he didn't miss. He hit Tim in the head with every swing. Fast and controlled rather than utterly wild like Leben, for example.

Yeah Sylvia usually recovers quick as a mofo and counter attacks pretty effectively. But in this one he just went down quick like a sack of Iowa potatoes.

fedor was able to keep the pressure on. so many times, its one big shot and the person gets a little bit of breathing room. fedor kept right on top of him the whole time :bigthumb:

I never thought couture stood as large a chance as everyone has speculated. Some people are just untouchable for a time, that time is clearly now. I mean if the Ice Man can handle Couture and retire him, then I can only imagine what Fedor would do to him

I think Couture actually looks better at heavyweight than at light heavy. :dunno: Maybe it's not having to worry about cutting weight or maybe it's just less of a talent pool, but beating big Tim is something that a whole hell of a lot of people have failed at. :dunnno:

The punch that really hurt Tim landed right behind his ear.

    Some precise precision by E-Fed.

i like what he did first. i thought it was a punch, but he pulled Tim's left out of the way instead and threw his left after that.

 My friend noticed that when we were watching it, it was a pretty tactful move that's for sure. It's what Tim does best and he stopped it before he even got to throw another one. I was pretty frickin impressed that's for sure. Kinda like GSP's like counter overhand leg kick shit, but way more effective.
