No, I imagine it just has to break a certain financial threshold.

Do I suck if I think the movie wasn't all that bad? Granted I never read the comic books, so that will have something to do with it, but it entertained me. :dunno:

Agreed. I can imagine Mackey as Ben Grimm no problem.

I'm down with that. Fantastic Four had a strong "prelude" or "introduction" vibe for me. I'd be disappointed in the current FF movie if there wasn't going to be any more.

But the dude who played Dr. Doom isn't going to be in it?? :wtc:

FF was ok, but it just seemed to me the pacing was off or something. I dunno, just got this weird vibe from it, that screwed everything up. Anyone else feel the same?

Yeah, the casting was pretty solid, but the script was really weak.

Agreed, if they actually bother to get a decent script for the next one I think it could do pretty well.

Anymore the first one is to test to see what the audience thinks.
I am more interested to see how the new GhostRider movie is going to be with Nicholas Cage.

Alba as Sue Storm, naaa. All of FF powers were symonous of their personalities. Johnny Storm was wild and a hot head like fire. Grimm was a stable rock and hard to pierce. Sue Storm was shy, a wallflower (like Violet in the Incredibles; same powers btw; a rip-off of Sue). Reed Richards is being pulled apart by all of the others and other numerous duties he takes on (again, like Mrs. Incredible, a mom). Alba's character is what she is now after John Byrne's makeover, but not in the beginning when she was Florence Hendersonesque (the Brady's mom).
