    just one for right now...

    # The sender fits on camera's hot shoe and triggers a remote flash, a studio strobe or a flash power pack up to 3000 W/S to which the receiver is attached. The sender contains a tiny user-installable 12V alkaline photo battery (included) and has a function of sleeping mode when standby (getting rid of on/off switch). It can trigger some 20,000 times continuously with one battery.

Low 5.5 V triggering voltage, safe to all modern digital/film cameras: Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fuji, etc. and works well with Bowens,Alen Bees, Elinchrom and Courtenay flash units, etc.
    #

    Sensitive range: 100 feet/30m approx. / output power < 2 mW
    #

The receiver triggers the flash/strobe/power pack it is attached to at a sync speed up to 1/1000 sec. It uses two AA alkaline batteries (not included). The receiver has a standard 1/4" phone jack plug for attachment to many monolights and other studio flashes that use this type of connection. It also comes with one 1/8" (3mm) pc sync plug adapter which is designed for use with studio flash/strobe that use this type of connection.

I ment when you test it :)

check out what your cameras xsync is, that will probably be the limiting factor, let me know if it can keep up.

Isn't this about remote flash syncing? My D80, and most every higher end Nikon dSLR, have that sort of stuff built in.

but it will only work with nikon speedlites right? I can use this to trigger strobes, or any speedlite that has a PC port.

I understand what all of it means, I'm just glad I don't have to deal with it/pay for it. And yeah, I'm pretty sure it only works on the SB-600 and the SB-800, but there might be some cheaper ones too. Like the SB-24 or whatever they call it.

What flash are you using? I have a Speedlite 430EX and have been thinking about buying some ebay triggers.

If you're having problems with the triggers randomly flashing, i've heard aluminum foil works wonders. Check out the picture here:

I use a nikon sb-24 and an older 430ez. eventually I'm gonig to step up to some proper strobes, but I don't have the cash to blow right now

With the canon flash you're going to need to get something like this
    slave
    or
    hot shoe adapter

so I went and opened my package all jazzed that I might get to play with the new trigger and it didn't have a PC connector on the back of the receiver like I thought it was supposed to.... looks like I'll have to buy another one or mod my sb24 to take a mono plug

    update

I talked to a friend of mine who just happens go have an extra mono -> PC plug! so it's back on!
