Not that I don't have anything else going in my life, like fishin, golf or all of the house projects my wife has me doing, but I "try", outside of my scheduled matches, to have at least 1-2 "live fire" practice a week.

You Washington guys need to come and shoot IDPA with me one weekend. Our next meet is at Renton Fish & Game on the 15th in Renton. You can see what your gun is really made of. :)

I think I'm going to hit the range this weekend. Finally figure out what my race 10/22 likes, heat up the AK again, and put another 20-40 rounds through the K-31.

We went out Saturday. We threw 4 cases of skeet. Ran a box through my savage 17, and finally got to test out my trigger job on the TC .22-250 and it's now shooting inside a quarter a 100.... Then I set off a 12 gauge shell with it. I've self diagnosed myself with Chronic Itchy Finger.

Had it duck taped to a T-post. Tried for a while wit the 17, but it just didn't have the magnification @ 100yds. 1 shot with the tripledeuce50. Pic of shell when i get home.

Want to know a better game with a 12ga shell? Tape a small ball bearing to the primer and drop it off a bridge onto a hard surface. My ski team coach in high school was full of brilliant stories that he did when he was younger :hsugh:

I like to shoot stuff :naughty:

Umm.., if you drop it straight down and the primer is against the hard surface, isn't the shot going to come right back at you? Better be a tall bridge:rofl:

Pic of shotshell as promised. My cousin had hit it with the .17 at about the same spot on the edge of the shell, but it didn't have the same effect as the 22-250.
