    LS1/6 is a great motor. People get great power out of that motor.

    but any motor that takes a beating like that motor out of the box is best IMO.

    it really sucks when you can only reach a power level and don't want to make more without a rebuild with forged rods/pistons.

    Lidio ran 9's with a stock long block 4.6 DOHC. T trim Vortech and Speedpro on that bitch!

    Only thing he did to the motor was remove the :Greddy: IMRC plates.

    I ahve a 1996 Mustang Gt with ab OHC 4.6 I love the thing, and did you say 9 secs stock? i don't think so

    Blown DOHC 4.6 > ls1

    the regular DOHC 4.6 and ls1 are really close to me.

    This is obvious
    yea factory forced induction vs. n/a is usually the win, but overall the ls1 is still a better engine IMO

    you can also argue the more displacement out of the Ls1
    but then again you are getting into that whole nonsense

    and the new Mach 1 are making great power right now and stock for stock beating LS1's.
