It doesn't show up

    So I've been regularly working out and have routines for back, arms, chest, legs, and shoulders and then a little bit of abs. I can feel these routines working, and I've been able to bench more, but it doesn't look (especially my arms) like I'm doing any work...My arms just aren't growing and aren't become tone at all.

    Could it be the way my body grows?
    Could I not be working out enough?
    Do i need more weight?

    Sleep 8 hours a day. Continue to lift, and start eating like man. 85% of your gains depend on your diet. If you dont have calories in>calories out, you wont gain any weight at all, muscle or otherwise. Read the stickies.

    Is your routine one that works or did you make it yourself and think that it works. You can't "feel" a routine working, and what kind of strength gains have you gotten?

    edit: also how long? If it's less than 6 months, GTFO and keep at it.

    I eat a shit load. Maybe not the best food, but a shit load. (not fat either). But I def don't sleep 8 hours a day.

    Nah it's a routine that me and my buds got from some trainer. It seems to work for them. But yea it been about 3 months that I've been doing it consistently. So if I don't see any progress then, I'll get back to you guys.

    Every cunt that says they can't gain weight but 'eat a shitload' usually eat half what they should be eating.

    You're going to reply to this by saying "nah man I eat 2 double cheeseburgers and a bag of cheetos every day" or similar crap, but if you actually kept a food journal, you'd notice that you're not getting enough calories.

    Are you eating right now? Do you eat a pop-tart with every meal? Do you eat 6 times a day? Do you drink shakes between meals?

    You. don't. eat. enough.

    No, I don't eat that much. But I did notice a considerable weight gain when i started working out. But I'm not looking to gain more weight, I talking about my biceps and other muscles looking a lot more tone.

    No I'm not jacked but all the muscles I have worked are becoming bigger, just not tone at all.

    1. Getting enough protein and calories
    2. training all your muscle groups with some sort of intensity

    You will get gains as a newb. Take pictures of yourself because it happens slowly and you may think nothing is happening
