I've installed this crap... now trying to rollback to IE6.

When I uninstall, it works, restarts etc.. looks fine. When I try to run IE 6, it errors. c.0000005 some crap like that. When I try to install IE 6 again, says I have a newer version installed.

Any way to uninstall it completely? I can re-install IE7b3 and it works fine, but uninstalling it doesn't like to go back to ie6 :(

    Any tips?

My tip would be use Opera and don't use M$ Betas. Yeah there are issues with uninstalling IE7.

Oddly enough, i just uninstalled IE7b3 just minutes ago. I think it FUBARd my FTP config on my computer. I cant get to any FTP sites thru Windows Explorer now. I have to use a 3rd party app (which isnt the end of the world, but Windows Explorer FTP is just easier sometimes).

System Restore is your friend. Roxio GoBack is your best friend. (GoBack is a non-MS system restore program.)

I turned off my system restore a while before I installed Microshit IE7b3. So now I'm kinda screwed it seems, untill I format. Which will not be for quite some time, due to me having a few full external HD's. :\

Someone wanna mail me another

IE is Mosaic. Or at least, it used to be. Check the credits.

Not to mention that the University of Illinois stopped active development on Mosaic years ago. I don't think it's even compatible with the latest HTML standard, to say nothing of newer content.
