God, I just wish I could connect to my router with a cable.

So the issue is up until this morning my wireless network was working, then I awake to find that it refused to connect even though I saw it had signal strength (albeit very low). So, I go out get a 6dbi antenna and hook it up. The signal is full strength now, but it refuses to connect to my preferred WEP network. For some reason I've got a 'default' open network and my normal WEP one.

I've reinstalled the PCI card with the newest drivers, did a virus/spyware scan with a bunch of different programs, but to no avail. Hell, I've even tried the crappy 'Repair' function XP has for the wireless networks.

These are the components (all D-Link):
    DWL-G510 PCI adaptor (rev. B)
    DI-624 Wireless Router
    ANT24-0600 6dbi antenna

    Otherwise, I'm running the following:
    Athlon64 3200+ socket 754
    Asus K8V SE
    Seagate SATA 120gb hdd
    Sapphire 9600XT 256mb

    What do you all think?

Did you try restarting the router (unplug & plug back in after 10-15 seconds)?

You don't have an ethernet cable laying around aye?
