Java doesn't work at all. It's not a problem with java, it's a problem with Safari. If I use Camino, pages and java things load fine. I have no idea what it is, I've done searches and it appears that some others have similar problems, but I haven't seen fixes posted on those sights. I might suck at searching.

Some websites, but not all websites, don't remember my password. They're remember my username, but not the password, every single time it pops open the "do you want safari to save your password" box, and every single time I click yes. I've tried clearing cookies and rebuilding permissions using Onyx. It still doesn't work. I've also done searches for this, and have had a similar experience to my java problem.

All of my updates are up to date. What am I doing wrong? :hsd:

Safari menu -> Reset Safari ?

    Delete Safari prefs (~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.*) ?

    Delete ~/Library/Safari ?

Thanks for your help. I did all of the things that you suggested, and it seems to be remembering my login information for now. Sometimes it takes a few returns to sites, so I guess I'll wait and see if that is fixed. The java still doesn't work. Do you have any idea about that?

Yeah... That didn't fix it. It's still having trouble remembering passwords, and java's still bad. Thanks for the help though!

    No.

In fact, you're the only person to ever have a problem with a Mac.

    I knew it!

It's just so irritating, and it seems that someone would have a fix for this if more people had it.

Its a distinct possibility that you will NEVER get it to work with a Mac.

There are ways to make a website for IE that works perfectly, that will not work with any other browser. Never forever.

That being said, try Opera and try OmniWeb... If you've tried Safari and Firefox, those are the only two browsers that I can think of that have different engines.
