I went to this Muscle Max shop today looking for Nectar and the guy told me that isolate whey is mostly benneficial PWO because it is absorbed quicker than a blend. He said blends are better for during the day.

Is this BS? I was always under the assumption that isolates are just a more pure form of whey as opposed to a blend.

BTW, got some Nectar fruit punch... . Mixed with a spoon, added ice and it tasted great. You can still tell it's a whey drink but it doesn't have that funky "I wanna be a whey fruit drink" aftertaste.

He was probably talking about a whey/casein/egg protein type blend.
