I am 5"8 at 140 pounds. My strongest muscles are my pecs. I max out (do 1-2 reps) on the bench press at 225 lbs, which is fine for my weight. My chest is very developed, to the extent that while I would like to be stronger just to be stronger, it is soon going to be disproportionate and weird looking. So now I want to pump up a couple other parts of my body without losing the chest strength. These are: 1. Arms: biceps and triceps. 2. Back. I've devised a schedule for working out: chest on 1 day, then back, then biceps/triceps. On the fourth day, rest. Does this sound like a good plan to you? I don't care about reaching a specific weight, so much as gaining strength, which will doubtless increase my weight as a byproduct.
