TAT is wearing your tapers after you stretch bad?

    bought a pair of 4ga tapers .. but i lost my jewelry, can i wear the tapers for the time being until i have the time to get new jewelry? or should i just wait till i have the jewelry to stretch

    ive done it before with o-rings when i lost a plug :o
     
  4. If the tapers are implant grade stainless steel, then there wouldn't be any problems, aside from the fact that the hole may not be completely sized because of the nature of a taper. This would fix itself once you get new jewellry though. That's exactly what I did. The only possible problems that could arise are dependant on what the jewellry is made of when you stretch it. Anything that is not implant grade stainless steel is a poor choice to leave in while your ear is healing.

    titanium, implantanium, ptfe, bioplast and glass are all fine for a healing piercing
